“Megan Jones is wonderful and I love going to Helix Massage Therapy.”

About Megan:

For me, massage doesn’t feel like work—it is a wonderful way to spend time with someone, and I really like to share what to me has always been a gift. I have enjoyed providing a safe space for a diverse array of clients—from truck drivers and longshoremen to pregnant women and children—who bring a wide variety of needs to the table. These experiences have all informed my approach to the body, which is first and foremost, one of gratitude. Success to me is hearing that my clients are effortlessly enjoying fun activities, unencumbered by discomfort or pain.

A native of Olympia, my life prior to massage included working as a social worker with clients with developmental disabilities and pursuing a degree in Ethnic and Women’s Studies. I love to travel, sing, dance—and laugh! I have enjoyed salsa dancing in Japan and studying dolphins in Honduras and look forward to more adventures.

For the future, I want to continue learning more about how to support pregnant women, and I am interested in studying Rolfing.

“I just had my first appointment here with Megan and it went great. She was very nice and professional, leaving me feeling very relaxed (seriously, I don’t know if I have ever felt this relaxed). She also offered great and thorough advice, explaining to me just why my body was feeling sore and how to help ease the soreness/achiness on my own.”
